This morning I unfortunately fell asleep at 1 am and woke at 5 am. This would probably explain the slight fuzziness in my eyes. Dexter just flat-out refused to let me sleep so I turned on my own personal Saturday morning cartoons (though I really wanted Sat. morning Sci-fi T_T). I finished Mai Otome which I had started just a couple days ago.
Mai Otome took me a little while to get into as, in the beginning, I was not a huge fan of Arika. As the story progressed and more bad-ass characters were introduced it became harder to peel myself away from it. Oddly enough it also contained its share of Yuri moments which happens to tie into my recent unintentional theme.
I suppose there wasn’t a ton of yuri, one main girl/girl relationship. The show also featured a taboo love triangle involving a man almost in his 30’s and two 15 year-old girls.
